Welcome to Blue Back Farmers’ Market!

Since Blue Back Square opened in 2008, West Hartford has increasingly become a destination for people from all across New England. We felt the town could support a substantial Sunday Farmers’ Market that celebrated not only locally grown and produced food, but also the local culture. We invite you to take part in our ambitious venture to create a successful “Third Place”—neither work nor home—where people linger, connect and belong. Stop for some fresh lettuce, pick up that special cheese, but then pause at the Story Tent or watch an artist demonstrate his or her craft.

Be present with us, with each other, and help us realize our vision for a new Sunday Farmers’ Market in Central Connecticut. We want to thank our remarkable vendors and the Town of West Hartford for supporting us.
